Edwin Ho was born in South Korea and lives and works in Los Angele. His early body of work often gravitated towards realism and has since moved into varying explorations of abstraction and surrealism. While his medium of choice is acrylic on paper, he is also an adept printmaker who has produced a large number of beautiful prints featuring nature scenes, animals, and plant life. Horses, giraffes, rolling hills, fields, and houses are often found in his work, pointing to the artist's yearning for harmony and balance, and a desire to be in open spaces. Ho’s motivation is driven by esthetic, and a willingness to immerse himself in the pursuit of technique.
